STEAM 4 Kern is Kern County’s first and only comprehensive STEAM education program designed specifically for local students. This innovative program provides teachers and expanded learning programs with access to high-quality science and technology kits through a free lending library, as well as professional development, skills training, and field trips. STEAM 4 Kern also offers day and week-long STEAM camps, giving students hands-on opportunities to explore real-world concepts in science, technology, engineering, art, and math. By providing a variety of engaging resources and experiences, STEAM 4 Kern strengthens STEAM education across the county and ensures that all students have the chance to learn, create, and innovate.
